I got my CD-ROM drive(and SCSI controller card) for ‘free’ when I bought Corel Draw for some amazingly large price(In the $700 to $1200 range)!

I still know people that use Word Perfect for Windows 8 because you can still do things with it that you cannot do with Word.
For that matter, there are things you can do in WP5.1 for DOS that you cannot do in Word.
Kerning is one of them… If there is a way to do manual kerning in Word, I for one have not found out how!
It’s table features are still better than Word also.
Remember using QEMM to get enough memory to load all the drivers in upper memory, so you would have enough base memory to run your programs?

Weirdly enough, I just installed WPforW v8 on a computer today!

Now, let me find those $300 clip art CD-ROM discs to play in my $500 CD-ROM drive (yes, I am MPC COMPLIANT) so I can make a nice looking report! Oh NO. There’s not enough memory to load the CD-ROM driver and WordPerfect. Farewell, I must reboot after editing my CONFIG.SYS file.
