I’ve seen “lolcats” before (but never knew their proper name) and reading the funny, clinically sterile Wikipedia entry gave me the chuckles. It also led me to the entry for “snowclone“, which most lolcats seem to be.
I never seem to know if wikipedia articles like these are jokes, popular culture phenomenon that I seem to have missed out on, or obscure one-offs that someone just typed up to be silly…
