Going to upgrade to FC4
Okay, so it appears as though my FC1 installation (or was it FC2?) has reached its “end of life” as I’m not getting any more updates from the yum repositories. I guess this is their way of making me upgrade. So, I figured I may as well go “whole hog” and just get FC4 Test 2, which if it mirrors what the Fedora Project has done in the past, will be a production quality release. I wonder what all the new cool stuff is? Anyone out there upgrade to FC4 yet? I hope I don’t blow my weekend on this…

They provide some updates (maybe only security-related?) for older Fedoras and Red Hats.
Yeah, I saw that, but it was actually sort of after I had already done the upgrade to FC4. I like being on the “bleeding edge” but I just like things to work as well. So, I’ve built cyrus from the source, got everything configured and working right, and now I’m pretty happy with it. Actually, its not much different than FC2, but I can at least know that I’m gonna get the cool stuff when it comes along (if it comes along, and whatever cool stuff might possibly be).
